As I am sure I have mentioned, Casa de Sense of Wonder is just 1/2 of the wonder that is our pre-k co-op. This is only where half the magic happens. The other half is with the lovely Mrs. Mary Markers. I don't post pictures of what happens over there, because...well...I'm usually at the grocery store or something and not actually there taking pictures. But last week Mrs. Mary sent home this adorable little math activity with Birdy and I just had to share.
This little monster's teeth are made from Bugles. As Birdy ate, she would count how many she had, how many she ate, and how many were left. Birdy actually did very well with this. (It's hit or miss with her sometimes) She started with 8 Bugles, and as she ate she talked out her problem, "I ate 2 sooooo...now I have 6."
That's my girl!
